Charlottesville’s oldest restaurant and a UVA tradition since 1923, The Virginian is located on University Avenue across from the UVA grounds in the historic “Corner” district.
Parking
The Corner district offers numerous paid parking lots and decks. The closest one to The Virginian is located directly behind the restaurant and is accessible from Univeristy Avenue.
Reservations
Due to its size, The Virginian is only able to operate on a first come, first served basis.
Private Parties
The Virginian does not currently offer private party space. Please contact any of our sister restaurants for your private party needs.
